New guideModernizing a legacy system without stopping the business

08 — Cloud & DevOps

Infrastructure that ships safely and stays up.

Good infrastructure is mostly invisible: deployments are routine, environments match, problems are noticed before customers notice them, and the cloud bill makes sense. We set up and run cloud environments, pipelines and monitoring for the systems we build and for existing applications that need a steadier foundation.

Capabilities

What this service covers.

  1. 01

    Cloud architecture

Network, compute, storage and database design on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

  2. 02

    CI/CD pipelines

Automated build, test and deployment with GitHub Actions.

  3. 03

    Containers

Docker images and orchestration with Kubernetes where the scale justifies it.

  4. 04

    Infrastructure as code

Terraform-managed environments that can be reviewed and recreated.

  5. 05

    Observability

Logs, metrics, uptime checks and alerts wired to the right people.

  6. 06

Moving applications from on-premise or shared hosting in planned stages.

  • 04

    CI/CD pipelines

Automated build, test and deployment on every change.

  • 05

    Docker containerisation

Consistent, reproducible environments from laptop to production.

  • 06

    Kubernetes deployment

Orchestration for multi-service platforms that need it.

  • 07

    Monitoring and alerting

Logs, metrics, uptime checks and on-call alerts.

  • 08

    Cloud cost optimisation

Right-sizing, scheduling and removing idle resources.

Use Cases

When clients bring us in.

Manual deployments

Releases done by hand from a developer's machine.

No staging environment

Changes tested in production because nothing else matches it.

Unexplained outages

Downtime noticed by customers first.

Growing cloud bills

Costs rising faster than usage.

Where It's Used

Problems we solve, sector by sector.

  • SaaS companies

    The problem
Releases are risky and done by hand.
    What we build
Automated pipelines with staging environments and fast rollback.
  • E-commerce

    The problem
Traffic spikes during sales slow the store down.
    What we build
Auto-scaling infrastructure with CDN caching for catalogue pages.
  • Financial services

    The problem
Security reviews demand audit trails and strict access.
    What we build
Locked-down networks, centralised logging and least-privilege access.
  • Healthcare

    The problem
Sensitive data must stay protected and backed up.
    What we build
Encrypted storage, tested backups and restricted administrative access.
  • Logistics platforms

    The problem
Many services make failures hard to trace.
    What we build
Container platforms with tracing and centralised monitoring.
  • Growing businesses on shared hosting

    The problem
The application has outgrown its server.
    What we build
Staged migration to managed cloud services with no big-bang cutover.

How We Deliver

Delivery you can plan around.

Infrastructure audit

Current setup, risks and quick wins documented.

Incremental migration

Moving workloads without big-bang cutovers.

Runbooks

Written procedures for deploys, rollbacks and incidents.

Managed support

Ongoing operations under an agreed support scope.

Deliverables

  • Infrastructure audit report
  • Terraform configuration
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitoring dashboards and alerts
  • Deployment and incident runbooks

Technology Stack

Tools we use for this work.

  • AWS
  • Azure
  • Google Cloud
  • Vercel
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Terraform
  • GitHub Actions
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis

Security & Scalability

  • Horizontal scaling

Stateless services scaled on load; databases scaled with replicas.

  • Secrets management

Credentials in managed secret stores, never in repositories.

  • Backups tested

    Restore procedures rehearsed, not assumed.

  • Network isolation

Databases and internal services kept off the public internet.

Process

From first workshop to production.

  1. 01 · Discover

Workshops with the people who run the process today. We map how work actually moves, where it stalls and what the system must never get wrong.

  2. 02 · Define

A written scope: users and roles, core workflows, integrations, non-functional requirements and a release plan you can hold us to.

  3. 03 · Architect

Data model, service boundaries, hosting, security model and the trade-offs behind each choice — reviewed with your team before code starts.

  4. 04 · Build

Short sprints with a working demo every week. Code review on every change, automated tests on the paths that carry money or data.

  5. 05 · Validate

Functional QA, role-by-role acceptance, performance checks and a security pass before anything reaches production users.

  6. 06 · Scale

Staged rollout, monitoring and a support window. Then the backlog of improvements that only real usage reveals.

Event-driven food delivery platform

Challenge
A monolithic delivery system would let one overloaded component take down checkout during peak demand.
Solution
Spring Boot microservices communicating through Apache Kafka, with separate data stores for transactions and menus.
Outcome
A delivery platform where a failure in one service does not stop customers from ordering and paying.

Hospital HRMS

Workforce management for hospital staff

Challenge
Hospital HR ran across fragmented systems, causing shift conflicts and slow communication with clinical staff.
Solution
A centralized HRMS with role-based access, rota planning, attendance, leave and document management built for clinical shift patterns.
Outcome
Shifts, leave, attendance and staff records in one secure system instead of several disconnected tools.

FAQs

Common questions.

Which cloud providers do you work with?

AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, plus Vercel for front-end hosting. We recommend a provider based on your team, compliance needs and existing contracts.

Do we need Kubernetes?

Often not. Many systems run well on managed containers or platform services. We recommend Kubernetes when the number of services and scale justify the operational cost.

Can you take over an existing setup?

Yes. We start with an audit, document what exists and stabilise it before changing anything major.

Will the infrastructure be in our account?

Yes. Everything is provisioned in your cloud accounts and managed as code in your repository.

What do DevOps services include?

Typically CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containerisation, monitoring, backup and recovery, security hardening and ongoing operational support.

Can you reduce our AWS bill?

Often, yes. We review usage, right-size resources, use reserved or savings plans where appropriate and remove idle infrastructure. Savings depend on the current setup.

Do you offer managed cloud services?

Yes. After setup we can operate the infrastructure under an agreed support scope with monitoring and incident response.

Which regions do you deploy to for Indian clients?

Usually the Mumbai or Hyderabad regions for low latency and data residency, with other regions for international users.
