Hirix is a high-end, trust-based hiring platform built on a multi-engine backend: an AI engine (DeepSeek) for resume parsing and subjective grading, a proctoring engine with tab-switch detection and escalating cooldowns, an anti-fraud engine that scans messages for bribe/scam attempts, and a trust engine that scores every candidate 0-100 from verified test performance and profile completeness.
Die Herausforderung
Enterprise HR teams have no reliable way to verify a candidate's claimed skills before an interview, and resume-only screening lets unverified or even fraudulent profiles through. The client needed proctored, AI-graded skill assessments tied to a single trust score, plus safeguards against test brute-forcing and in-platform scams.
Unsere Lösung
We built a Spring Boot backend with a dedicated Code-Engine microservice: candidate code runs through Judge0 for synchronous test-case execution while DeepSeek grades algorithmic quality asynchronously via CompletableFuture, and the two scores merge into a final result. A custom FraudDetectionService scans messages for UPI/bank-detail requests, and TestEngineService enforces 7/14/21-day escalating cooldowns against repeated attempts. The Next.js frontend gives candidates, recruiters, and admins each a dedicated dashboard.
